Re: Can you use hotspot from your smartphone to an LED...
Yes, if the computer is able to join your hotspot and you have enough data. Keep in mind that you are accessing a stream that is being used by many people at once (typical cellular tower), and quality may be reduced.
Else, if you don't have some sort of computer hooked up to the monitor, no, you cannot watch a video.

Hi,
If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

It doesnt really matter as of how many movies are there in the USB. There is a chance that the movie might be corrupted. Just check it in your computer and see. The movie file itself must have been corrupted.
If you right click on your desktop a small dialog box appears. *Click on personalize *you should also see screen resolution or a "monitors" option & click **unless you have an app of some kind, you'll need an S-Video cable As long as you have your S-Video is connected your computer should walk you through the options after you open monitors
hi, You can do the following to watch the same moving in both the screen. 1.Connect the AV out of both the unit together. with supplied av cord
2. If you want to watch the movie played on the first unit then put the DVD/AV IN switch of first monitor to DVD and the DVD/AV IN switch of second one to AV IN.Now you can watch the movie played on the first monitor on both monitors.
3. IF you want to watch movie played on the second unit then put DVD/AV IN switch of second monitor to DVD and the DVD/AV IN switch of the first monitor to AV IN. Now you can watch the movie played on the second monitor on both monitors.

If it's not showing anything and goes to sleep mode, then did you try to select the proper input from the monitor's on-screen menu? Otherwise I can't help you unless you are more specific - when does it go black, right away or after 10 minutes of watching a movie for example?...
The simple way to check if this is a Monitor issue or not, you can unplug the monitor from the Computer and connect it only to the power outlet. If it gives you a "No signal" screen or goes through any sort of other Self test, Your monitor is fine. You can also check if the power led is blinking Amber or Green. A blinking Amber LED while the monitor is only connected to the Wall outlet indicates the monitor is faulty.
Just run the program and select either the Smartphone or the PDA icon at the first prompt, then browse to the movie file on your computer and then allow the program to re-encode to fit your phone screen. Since your screen is 320x240, try either of the smartphone or PDA setting. You'll also be able to tweak the settings manually if it's not exactly what you wanted. Have fun and once you get it working.. don't forget the popcorn. ;)
