Six beeps would say it is the throttle pot not in its centre off position or the pot needs replacing. Is the wig wag lever loose by this I mean the lever is wobbly and moves up and down a fair bit. This would indicate its had its day. Have you had speed issues before this problem as this is normally the case before they go wrong altogether.

turn the ps3 off....hold down the power button for 5 to 6 seconds til u hear a couple of beeps then turn it on....will reset your video settings to your avi cables.

The number and timing of beeps will tell you what's wrong. You'll have to find the motherboard manual to find what the beeps mean though. Would be worth taking the RAM chips out, blowing any dust away and putting them back in.

Get in the car and turn the key to on (don't start the car,) then change the odometer to display "odo" and not trip A or B.

Turn the key off.

Turn the key back to on. Within six seconds of doing this, press and hold the odometer button. Do so for 10 seconds. Then, while still holding the button, buckle up, edit: then unbuckle. The "odo" display should then change to say "b-on." let go of the odo button to get it to read "b-off." Then wait for the display to change back to the odometer. That's it, you're done.

The car will still beep right when you turn it on for 3 seconds if you don't have a seatbelt, but the dash light will continue flashing till buckled up. It won't beep if you or your passenger unbuckles for a moment. Salvation!

Yes your suggestion is correct. This type of problem occurs due to humidity also. Solution is if your a technical person or service person just remove main pcb from the tv and blow all dust and clean it. Check whether the dry soldered in power supply area and jungle ic area. if found clear it. Now the tv is working well and good. 6 times blinking means problem in jungle ic area.
