The Paper tray has a sensor for the same. Open and service the sensor and that will solve ur problem. put the lever of paper loading tray of and on and then try it.

Servicing will solve the problem or tell again if u won't solve.

I just unplugged and shut down the machine, put fresh paper in, waited a minute and it started working again.

Warning about that: Unplugging the machine fixes the error but it also clears any queued jobs. I had three jobs that queued because of this 'load paper' error. When I unplugged and plugged in the machine again, it automatically printed a Memory Clear Report that showed those jobs were deleted. Fortunately I recognized the numbers of the senders and was able to contact them and get those faxes resent to us.

SOURCE: Sir, can anyone help me with my fax (canon fax

You either have a paper path blockage or your feed rollers are worn. You'll need to take it apart to check though. Try removing paper, turning machine off and on and re-inserting paper. Remember to fan (separate) paper before loading, it could be static causing the sheets to stick together and jam in the machine.

HP Color Laserjet CP2025n Load Paper

In XP, go to settings; control panel; printers& faxes; then left click your printer and select "Properties". Click the "Device Settings" tab and you should be able to figure it out from there, by clicking the trays and selecting "not available". I have that same printer and I just did it with mine so I know it can be done.

Fax output error

Pretty sure your paper tray button is set to get paper from the bottom paper cassette which is the tray that slides into the bottom of the printer.

If you switch the paper tray selection button* to use the rear feed tray you'll probably find it will print faxes sucessfully or you can put paper in the cassette tray...

*The paper tray selection button is just under (and slightly right of) the "Memory Card" button and has an icon image of the printer with two LED's (top and bottom). These lights indicate which of the trays is currently selected...

Hope that helps.

How and were do you load the paper in the machine

there should be two flaps; the first one is the larger flap at the back, put the blank paper to print there. where the smaller flap is (the doucments go) in the front, When you get ready to fax the doucment. It all should come out into the tray at the bottom of the fax machine. Look under the front of the fax machine and you should see a round indentation, put your finger into that and pull the tray out..

When faxing does paper face uup or down

You load the originals print side uo on the document feeder tray or print side down on the glass.
To send a single page fax you can either load the original on document feeder tray or on the glass; to send a multi-page fax you must use the document feeder tray.

The position of the paper is the same either you copy, fax or scan.
All this is clearly explained in the user's manual, that you should read and you can download from HP support pages for you printer:

Having trouble sending a fax and receiving one,, also where does

To send a FAX load the pages in the auto feed tray on the top of the unit. To receive a FAX, load the paper in the paper feeder vertically on the back of the unit. Suggest you consult your users manual.
