Timer is bad. if you go to www.searspartsdirect.com , you can enter your model # and find the part #. then google the part #, you should be able to find it pretty cheap. easy to replace.

sounds like the timer is not advancing. try to manually advance the timer to the shut off point. If that works then the small plastic gears of the timer are stripped out. Timer can be replaced.

Hi, the timer module mechanism has failed. the timer motor is unable to advance the mech at this time. you will need to replace the entire timer module. this will fix your issue.
the self timer may be the issue. the self timer if not all the way released will not allow you to advance to the next frame :( i sometimes have to push it back to the start position
