Many smart TVs and other devices have a Netflix app installed. But to use it you need to have a valid Netflix account. The icon being there doesn't mean you have Netflix. Most devices, when you attempt to connect to these apps, direct you through a process where you use your computer to enter a code into your account to link your device to your account. This assures Netflix that the device is operating under an established account.

Just follow these steps if your Netflix is not working on Smart TV:
    1.Try pressing and holding the enter button on the Netflix icon while in the smart hub apps screen.
    2.You should get a sub menu, one of which the options should be reinstall.

Help!!! I'm getting NCCP Authorization failure error on Netflix

Hello Friend...

This error usually relates to an account that has come off recently of a hold. If you see the error message 'NCCP Authorization Failure' on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. You can follow these steps to fix this issue.

Apple devices running iOS 6 or earlier versions:
    1.Press home button twice.
    2.Press and hold the Netflix app till the time you see a red color minus sign.
    3.Click on that minus sign.

    Apple devices running iOS 7 and 8:
      1.Press home button twice.
      2.Swipe right or left until you see Netflix icon.
      3.Swipe upwards on the app preview tile for closing the Netflix app.

What do you do to get started up

You will need the following to get started using Netflix:

1. Netflix is a streaming video service so you will need a device that can run the Netflix app such as your PC, Laptop or Tablet or you can use an appliance such as ROKU, Google Chromecast, RV, DVD or Blu-Ray player with Smart functions (allows you to run apps usually show with icons on the box). With any of these items, you can find the Netflix Logo or download the App and follow the instructions.

2. When you use Netflix, you will need an active WiFi or wired internet connection to the streaming device as this is how you will get your content.

3. Netflix is a paid service so you will need to set up and account which will require a credit card or other method of automatic payment.

4. Once you are up and running, you can stream content to your device anywhere you have an internet connection in the US. Netflix Basic allows up to 2 active streams at one time, although you can more than 2 devices registered.

...it's because you are attempting to watch on more devices than your plan currently allows.
For more information, see Simultaneous Streams on Your Netflix Account, or use the following steps to resolve this issue:
  1. Stop streaming on all computers and devices. (If you are unsure what other device has streaming activity, check out your recent activity to help solve the mystery.)
  2. Try playing a movie or TV show on the device that originally received the error.
If this error persists, a title may have failed to stop properly or a sudden disconnect occurred between Netflix and your device. This will resolve itself automatically, but may take up 2 hours.
