try deleting some apps,to free up space then it shud allow the update process, you can always go back and download the apps again after youtube has updated, you can also purchase a sdcard for more storage>>>www.discountbargainprices.com

youtube app is being disabled now on most tvs. samsung, sony etc are just a few. tv companies don't want to have to keep updating the software to keep up with apps. and some have lost the rights to use the app and other apps like facebook.

well it depends on what service you have , I have t mobil, and I have a play store app that takes me to the apps, there I would down load the youtube app it should be the latest

You can uninstall updates of most apps.
