Can't help you there but there are free alternatives to AutoCAD. DraftSight and DoubleCAD XT both offer free AutoCAD LT alternatives. No 3D or LISP but there are better than using an older out of date version of AutoCAD 2006.
There is no generic code, but if you really want to keep using the program you can find a crack for it. Since cracs are illegal I can not help you find one but Google usually helps.
The other thing you can try is to ask the code from your old company, or have somebody who still works there get one for you.
