When the projector is turned on,the projection which is shown on the whatever surface, there are a great number of dots which are seen in the projection and the number even increases as the days go by.
Anything is usually fixable. What you have to determine with Dell's assistance is if it is cost effective to do so.

Your projector's DMD chip has failed and this is why you are seeing the white pixels (they're stuck mirrors). You can replace the DMD chip although I wouldn't suggest requesting it from Dell as you will probably pay a small fortune. All DMD chips are manufactured by Texas Instruments and you can find the chips online. For the Dell 1209S you need DMD chip 8060-6318W/ 8060-6319W.
