Nearly every natural gas / LP operated appliance can be converted to work with the other fuel pretty easily. You will need to change the orifice in the burner & pilot. Contact your LP provider and they should be able to supply the correct parts / perform the labor for this job for you.
I HATE TO TRY AND EXPLANE THIS FOR FEAR SOME THING MAY GO WRONG DID YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER. FROM NATURAL GAS TO LP YOU SHOULD OF HAD TO CHANGE THE POSISTION OF THE ORVICE IN THE REGULATER THAT IS WHY YOU ARN'T GETTING THRU THE REGULATOR CHECK YOUR DIRECTIONS AGAIN SOME TIME YOU HAVE TO THIGHTEN THE NUT ON THE REGULATOR SO IT DISTORTS THE ORFICE TO LP, AND SOME MODELS YOU HAVE TO TURN THE ORFICE OVER. BECAREFUL AND TRY AGAIN
Please tell us everything you did to convert your stovetop/oven to LP? Beside swapping the natural gas orifices for LP orifices, did you also switch the appliance regulator over to LP? When you put in the orifices did you match up the proper size ones to each different size burner according to your owner's manual? They have #'s stamped on them to identify them and some are even color coded. Were you having any similar issues with your previous stove? If so, it may be a pressure problem. Is this on LP or Natural gas? If LP was it converted to LP? In any event,The air shutter must be adjusted on the gas burner tube. You need more air. The valve orifice may also need adjusting.
there is a square nut on top of the regulator un screw it and underneath you will find a Cly flip that over should take care of it one side will say ( nat) the other will say( lp) you want lp up
on the regulator there is a 1/2" nut, made of aluminum. loosen the nut, thur it around and screw it back in, there is a "NAT" on one side, and a "LP" on the other side, make sure the "LP" is facing out if you are using propane, and "NAT", if you are using Natural Gas. Very simple, all you need is a 1/2" wrench, or a small adjustable wrench,
If it is possible, then the orifice has to be changed. The regulator may need to be changed as well. I am a certified LP technician for recreational vehicles, but I don't know enough about this particular appliance to say for sure if it can be converted. The best thing is to contact Miele directly, but this sort of conversion always requires a different orifice. Note that propane, butane, and natural gas are all forms of LP (Liquified petroleum), so conversion between the 3 is usually possible
