The buckle fell off the band

The buckle literally came apart and fell off the band. Tried to find a replacement buckle and it is apparently like 24mm and the standard largest size at a jewelers is 22mm. I t just really ticks me off. Went back to the store of purchase and the best they will do is exchange me another watch which is completely different. This watch was the wedding gift I bought my husband and I don't want another watch. He had only worn it twice before it broke.

I know it's frustrating and I work in the industry the only thing I can suggest is to a Contact the manufacturer directly or try ebay for replacement bands? and Then rob the buckle off the new one to fit the old, so you still have the gift you gave to your husband?

I need a pin and buckle for 45/7053 m1099 watch.

Hello, Jennifer -

Are you asking about a band for the Armitron M1099 women's wrist watch?

By "pin and buckle" are you referring to the closure part of the watch band and/or one of the thin metal rods which attach the watch band to one end of the watch?

If I am correct in my guess about a replacement band or parts of a band for an Armitron M1099 women's wrist watch, if you have not already contracted Armitron directly about the needed parts, this is the link to the Armitron Watches web page regarding Service Centers:
https://www.armitron.com/pages/service-centers

Near the bottom of that web page, you will see a list of authorized service centers. I suggest you make a telephone call to one nearest where you reside and ask about the replacement parts you need before sending it (insured) for repair. Note: Also ask about the estimated repair cost.

Best wishes.

Shorten the band on a Mossimo watch

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
  • Place the watch face down on the cloth. This will help keep your watch from being scratched.

  • 2

Examine the links closest to the buckle. These links will have small pin holes on each side of the link, as well as a small arrow engraved on the inner side of the band. These indicate the direction the pins must be removed.

  • 3

Place the driving tool (a thumbtack will work) inside the pin hole in the band and push the pin out in the direction of the arrow. Remove the pin carefully from the other side.

  • 4

Repeat Step 3 to remove any links needed to adjust the band properly.

  • 5

Reattach the band to the buckle. Attach each end of the buckle back to the bracelet, driving the pin in the opposite direction from how it was removed (opposite the arrow).

  • Best regards. Jewel

Unclear as to how you adjust the rubber band strap

    1. Remove the deployant clasp from the watchband. The clasp is attached using spring bars on each end of the clasp. The method of spring bar removal varies but is usually performed by pushing a small pointed tool (one end of a spring bar tool) into a hole at the end of the clasp. While depressing the spring rod, pull the buckle away from the bracelet to detach. Repeat this for both sides of the buckle.
    2. Step 2 Measure the watchband to determine proper sizing. Use the scissors to cut along the inner grooves to remove needed sections (each section of the rubber will contain a new set of holes for the bracelet spring bars). Cut carefully and conservatively, as this step cannot be undone.
    3. Step 3 Reattach the buckle to the band after resizing. Reverse Step 1, pushing the spring bar in while sliding the buckle back into place.
    jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

I am trying to figure out how to shorten the wrist band on my Casio Edifice EFA-119.

mcdevito75 here, If your Casio has a metal band, you can remove 1--2 links, this takes a special tool called a link remover, best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area. If your Casio has a strap, the buckle may be able to move up the strap to fit your wrist, if so, move the buckle up the strap to fit your wrist and cut offf the exccess strap. If not, you"ll have to replace the entire strap. Hope this helps.

    Replacement watch band

You can buy any rubber watch strap and take the loop off for replacement. Just make sure - the strap you buy is exactly the same width as the original ******** your watch. Needless to say: colour should match as well. Rate me, plz.

I HAVE KC 3500 WATCH.MY BAND IS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION.

You do not need exactly the Kenneth Cole watch band. Measure the distance between watch case lugs - this will be the width of your new band. Go to any jewellers shop you like, ask them to show all watch bands of this size and choose whichever you like. Ask them to fit it as well if you do not fancy to do it yourself.
In case if you have a buckle with KC logo and want to keep it, then take it with you and ask to refit the buckle as well.

    Rate me, please.

    Anne Klein 10/5875 Y121E

You do noy need an exact Anne Klein band as all watch bands are made to specific measurements.
You have to measure the width of the band (the end attached to the watch) and buy any type of band you like, just make sure it is exactly the same width as the previous band. In case if you have the Anne Klein clasp or buckle, you have to measure the other end of the band as well and by any band you like, but in this case you need to match both ends of the band. Clasp or buckle are easily refitted to the new band and nobody knows that this is not an original one.
Do not forget to rate, please.
