John deere stx38 wont move transmission locked up?

Deere stx38 wont move ,run great, deck works, will not move, just smokes belt on cluth..like rear end is locked up?? help

    Jus got mower john deere la110 it was moving I kept hitting forward peddle then it finally worked making a winding noise sometimes it would sometimes not I just replaced both belts everything is turning but it won't move anybody know wat it is ?

I have john deere stx 38 the tractor wont move forward. when I placed the mower on jack the wheel turn fine until the tire touch the ground. the tractor wont move

click on which model (either yellow deck or black deck)
alphabetically pick which belt,
a diagram should appear in the right hand corner.

try www.johndeere.com apply for user id and password

will need to wait for these to be issued to you via e-mail

then go to www.jdparts.com and enter your user id and pw and enter the correct site for your country and then enter model stx38
scroll through list to find deck or attachments and double click it

your deck could be a yellow or black deck
