All depends on how much water is collecting. A lot of water indicated a leak from the ice maker. A small amount and it's probably a clogged condensate drain. Here's a YouTube video on a different brand showing a clogged drain, your may be similar (or not), but it might give you an idea as to where to look. Refrigerator dripping water inside FIX
Hi,have you got a drain at the back of the fridge just above the veg draw,if yes is there eney food above that that is tuching the back wall of the fridge above the veg tray,if so then the water that runs down the back wall will be going onto the food that it tuches and into the veg draw, hope this was some help, all the best.
Just above the veg drawers at the back is a channel that collects water when the fridge defrosts. It has a hole to drain the water which is blocked and the water is pooling under the drawers. Clear the hole with a drinking straw.
Usually the thermostat stuck closed but can sometimes be drain water freezing after defrost due to blocked drain. Fully defrost and check water drains away.
I have the same problem!!! We need a class action lawsuit against Samsung for this problem on their French Door fridge. Instead of fixing it they want the consumer to pay for repair. NO MORE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS FOR ME!!!!!
Look inside at the back to see if there is a collecting troff which collectes the water runing down the cool plate. In the middle of the troff is a run off hole which takes the water outside to the back to an evaporation tray. if this hole gets blocked it floods the fridge and you know the rest. Some fridges have a looped plug which you pull out of the troff hole to clear the blockage. I know this as my fridge does this too.
Good day, That's a classic example of the drain system either plugged up or iced up. Remove the rear panel in the freezer, and inspect the drain hole where the condensed water drains out of the machine. Must be blown out or de-iced. Service techs use compressed air tank with hose to blow out the dirt. You'll need to improvise. However... There are a few models that let the condensed water run down the back wall of the fridge, under the crisper drawers and then out a drain plug. Check for this first.
Your drain tubemay be stopped up with ice at the upper end
because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the
evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it.
Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey basterwill usually clear it out. Flushing it out
with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent
refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower
back of the freezer.
