Unknown small company make this tv for the Disney Corporation. But u can buy the original remote for this tv.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original remote.
If I remember correctly, the Disney set (along with Spongebob and some other cutesy TVs) are made by Memorex. Try whatever codes the control lists for that brand. Then try the code search function of the remote if that doesn't work.
Some Unkown company Disney contracted,no universal code.Must buy exact remote or compatible one.Try this website have it.1-800-Remotes Factory Original.
Spoke with Starlight Marketing Ltd today who represent Disney. They said there is no codes for the Disney TV's. They have been trying to find out what the code is but since it is a private brand tv it does not have a code for a different remote. As I stated we bought the Pirates of the Carribean TV/DVD. My husband was fooling around with the remote and punched in 0216 and the remote read the code. The person from Disney said we just got lucky. Said that there were no universal remotes that would work with these TV's. This code was also used by the Haier brand tv. Hope this info helps anyone with a Disney TV.
