Twice I saved a person name d number I would like to delete. Each one please help to delete it

May be you have enter or save a person name in same number with different name. Like in your Phone as well as in SIM card too. First of all try to find out the number and then correct yourself by deleting the contact person name and so on..

The common reason for this is, you might have saved that persons no twice in the mobile.. might be one in sim and one in phone or however.. If so, just delete the duplicate and which wil solve the problem.

hi friend, this problem occurred becoz, you have saved same number two time in our phone. one is saved as person name other one saved as unknown name. so, please delete your unknown numbers. it will work properly.

please check that the number was saved twice in the contact .
first delete the saved number and try

this may happn in two cases:
1) when contact is not saved in memory
2) contact is saved twice means
contace saved in phone memory as well as sim memory
so delete contact from both and sav that in any one memory either in sim memory or in phone memry :D

Just check in the phone book whether the number saved in the phone book or sim card or momory card are saved twice with 2 different or same name. if it is saved with 2 different name/same name. nokia phone gets confused which name to be displayed and he flash only the mobile number and not the name.

It is possible that you have not saved the number in the name of person whom you are sending message, or you might have saved that number twice in your cell phone, i.e. either in sim card or in mobile phone or both.

There is another way to check this. Try dialing the same number, if it shows the name of the person whom you have saved then its fine. If it shows the number only, then it indicates that you have have his number saved twice.

Since you have saved the same number twice, it is not displaying the name of the contact. You should only save the contact once (international format preferred).

That means that there is a double entry. the number saved in your address book has eitehr been saved twice or saved twice with different names. Delete the entry in the address book then turn off and on your phone. you should see the name of the other entry now.

I had the same prob and i found it was because i had the contacts stored in the phone mem and sim. I change the setting to just look at the phone mem (Contact / Settings / Memory in use)
