"Some" of the 2013 Models will, Most tablets will not...You can buy an Insert that has a Magnetic tip on the end, The cord has another magnetic tip. Simple stick together. It all depends on the type of charger Male end that goes into that paticular Model....
Try another charger and if that does not work there is a high possibility that the small jack inside the tablet has come loose. This is common if the cable was pulled or the tablet fell while being charged.
if you have to "wiggle " the end of the charger where it enters the tablet then its the charging port on the tablet itself that needs re soldering or changed. check the charger by plugging it into some thing else with the same end on ( phone etc ) to make sure its not the charger end. if it works fine then you need to change the port on the table.
Hi
I have had a look at this problem and the best I can find is a webpage here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?1303-NextBook-Next7S-Premium-Taken-Apart-with-Pictures!
which does tell you how to get at the battery. However, with its comments about breaking tabs which hold the case together when you take it apart, I'm not sure that I would attempt this. In any case, before you try this, plug the charger into the mains and see if you get a voltage at the tablet end of the charger, using a suitable multimeter, set to a suitable range. If you don't get a voltage here, you need to replace the charger.
I hope this all helps, and just in case you haven't got a manual, you can download one here and save it for future reference: http://www.nextbookusa.com/pdfs/NEXT5_Manual.pdf
Cheers

If the end of the charger broke off inside your nabi, it will be difficult, but you can get it out. Ideally you still have the broken piece. Superglue the end, put it back in and let it set, then pull it out quickly. If you don't have the rest of the broken piece, you can use something like a toothpick or a cotton swab with the cotton tip removed. Check out YouTube for videos on this. If your charging cord just fell apart and nothing is broken inside your nabi, just buy a universal charging cord. Make sure the tip matches the one you broke. Amazon is a good place for finding these. It will still charge your device.
If you feel comfortable you could take it apart and re-solder the charge port. Most tablets are not that hard to take apart. You really just need some plastic pry bars and small screw drivers
It may be the charger has a loose wire. In that case a new charger would fix the problem. Mine has a problem with the charging port itself. I am fortunatly that my tablet is under warrenty they are going to replace the tablet for me.
know of similar problems. either the cable and connection end you have or the receiving end in the tablet. can be diagnosed by getting replacement charging cable. if the problem goes away then its the cable if not it is probably the receiving end in the tablet
