The quick answer is Yes, you can get bluetooth for your laptop.

The most innocuous way is to add a Bluetooth Dongle to one of your USB ports. Examples include
Avantree DG40S Bluetooth 4 0 USB Dongle Adapter for PC with Windows XP 7 8... at Amazon, or
Monoprice USB Bluetooth v4 0 USB Dongle Black at BestBuy, amongst many. They should come with drivers to activate and handshake the Bluetooth with the rest of your system, so you can link to phones, speakers, or what have you.

    John, following up your question with regard to Lubuntu. The Hardware side of Bluetooth is pretty universal - that's the good part of having standards. The thing you'll want to look for amongst the many ads is whether there are drivers available for your flavor of Linux. Many/most of them have Linux drivers these days, so, at worst, you may need to backtrack from a vague synopsis on a retail site to the manufacturer to see what driver downloads that they have available, and what OS they support. Lubuntu, as one of the 'buntus', is primarily distinguished by the UI GUI, so having underlying Lunux support is probably going to work.

You might have a function key you need to press or a button on the side or front of the laptop. Most times if the wireless is on and your laptop is bluetooth capable, then bluetooth is on.

You can always purchase and install a usb bluetooth adapter if your laptop is not bluetooth capable. Try Tiger Direct at:

One of the things people purchase with lap tops is a fan pad that assists with heating distribution. You can purchase these just about any electronics store. Your fan also may be working but not working to its fullest capacity they are designed to shut down when they get hot no worries.
I would have this checked out and purchase one of those lap external USB fans for cooling assistance. They do work my friends all have them it is common these days and also blow them out once in awhile keep dust down. This will depend on the type of sound card that you have installed on your computer. You will have to find the compatible driver for the card that exists in your computer. Anything other than this will not work for you.
If you are wanting a better card you will have to purchase another card not sure if you have a PC desktop or a lap top if it is a lap top it may be integrated with the board. I'm assuming now that you do not have a restore disc you can go online and download it if it is available or contact customer support they will provide you one for your lap top. Photosmart 3310 is on network but not recognized wirelessly
Sounds like another Vista Bug, i would check the HP site for this issue and if its under warranty, contact HP. If you have alot of Blue tooth devices hooked up, it may be that its trying to use another device in its place or the signals are getting crossed, im not positive.

Its like when you have to many network drives all hooked up and you plug in a USB device, Windows pops up those anoying bubles saying its detected, but in My computer it doesnt show.

So bassically you have to right click my computer, manage, disk management listed uder storage, right click on the device or drive and change the drive letter to something like " W" or " Z" or anything not in use.

It may be a siomilar case with your bluetooth, youo may have to much stuff connected. Try redoing everything like you have so many other times before, and then limiting how many bluetooth devices you have connected at the same time. see if theres a difference.

Try new batteries. If this does not work then try reinstalling the blue tooth drivers. If this does not work then replace the mouse. if you purchased it from Dell, it might be still under warranty.
