1) remove both sound pods/Air pods.
2) turn both off and then on at the same time.
3) double tap on the right earpiece
4) wait until you hear Bluetooth connected (the left is going to turn off. Which will be connected to the right.)
5) go back to Bluetooth and select the right earpiece and test it out.
It is the hardware, the earpiece, you answered the wuestion yourself.
When there is no sound thru the earpiece, try using the speake mode or a bluetooth, if both works, then it's the earpice that is damage. I have no idea what phone model you have, but it can be replace or fix.
The phone may be in headset mode. If you can hear sounds through the headset but cannot hear sounds from the earpiece on the phone, it's in headset mode. Power down the phone and restart it. Otherwise no sound from the earpiece mean a bad earpiece.
sir while you answering the call press the volume button to increace the sound [or] give to the nokia service center for replacing the new earpiece mic for getting better volume................
There are two ways on how you can hear the caller. One is through the earpiece and one is through the phone's speaker.
Are you able to hear the caller but just not clear or with static sound? If yes, then you have a problem with the earpiece of your phone. You can test this by putting it to a speaker phone. If you can hear the caller clearly then you should have your earpiece check. Usually this problem is caused when the earpiece is often moisted or get wet. Try blowing a canned air on the earpiece.
Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FIxYa.

you have to change your speaker (earpiece) when you choose the loud speaker option,, you will able to hear the voice,,why?because the sounds transfer from earpiece to buzzer..its same when you use headset..the sound from earpiece will transfer to headset speakers..in that case,,you need to replace your earpiece..100% your problem will be solve!!
Yes you are very correct. Its a earpiece problem. I use to have a Sony Ericsson K750i and the earpiece is not loud at all, so when I changed the earpiece, it began to work perfectly again. So I'll support or advice that you change the earpiece.
It is an earpiece problem. The terminals might be soiled, oxidized or loose. You need to disassemble the phone, clean and lift the terminals to ensure good contact. Check also the continuity of earpiece using an ohmmeter. Resistance should only be between 20 to 30 ohms. Otherwise replace earpiece.
