there is a tsb on this one..this issue is most of the time linked to poor contact ,corrosion in the wiring of the antenna, damaged or loose antenna. It is located on the rear of the roof and to access the wiring, the head liner must be pulled down.
It is the overriding by intersteller priority dimensional language conversion filtering. Nothing to worry about, It can be easily defeated and modulated by tightening your removable Radio Antenae.:-) Good Luck_Ned_
Try this as the stereo may need to be reset- If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!
If you used the 2 plug nissan radio harness, there should be a blue wire on there which is the (power antenna) even if your car doesn't have a power antenna, this wire needs to be connect to power on the am/fm amplified ant which is used in many nissan cars.
if the jensen has a blue or a blue/white wire, connect it to one of those. if not, you can always connect it to the red ACC wire. that should solve your reception problem..
