I have a viper sst on my 2003 Chevrolet duramax truck, At Times The Alarm Will Start Chirping, " like someone is bumping the horn every few seconds", for no reason, why and how do I fix it?

This is a prewarn trigger from the shock sensor on the alarm.it's meant to warn a theif you have a alarm this should only go off if there is some kind of disturbance around the truck. The shock sensor is probably set to high. the shock sensor is under the dash it's a clear square box

I have a 2011 doge avenger with stock alarm and 504k shock added. when i remote start the car the horn blows for 2-3 secs. turning off 504k stops this. help

You are having this problem because the OEM alarm will shut off your engine and trigger your alarm when the hood is opened. Your 504k sensor is connected to your hood, so when you start your car remotely, the vibration is triggering your shock sensor and thus triggering your alarm. I had this same problem. You need to reduce the sensors sensitivity dramatically to help resolve this issue.

Anti theft system beeps constantly on a 03 z4

Sounds like you have an after market alarm system. Normally a factory alarm will not have a shock sensor. Its probably the shock sensor causing the constant beeping. If you think this is the case you can normally find the shock sensor under the drivers side dash secured to the steering column. It will probably have a light inside that comes on when it detects vibration. There will be an adjustment to make it more or less sensitive. Hope this helps.

My bulldog Model 2010 Alarm is too sensitive and

I got this from their website.

Adjusting the Shock Sensor Sensitivity
To adjust the shock sensor, disarm the system, press and hold Button #3 (Finder) until the alarm chirps four times
(approximately five seconds), immediately release the button. Tap your vehicle’s hood above the alarm at the sensitivity
level you wish. The harder you hit the car the less sensitivity the alarm will be. The alarm will then chirp three
times. The shock sensor is now set at this sensitivity. Any shock that is equal to, or greater than this sensitivity,
will sound the alarm. Set the sensitivity as often as you wish; however, the sensitivity level will remain set until
the battery is disconnected or you reset it. If you do not tap the car it will automatically go to maximum sensitivity.
This setting is only acceptable if the car is parked inside a garage. NOTE: The factory setting on the shock sensor
should be acceptable for most vehicles.

Prestige alarm sounds off all hours of the night why please help!

The problem could possibly be that the shock sensor is too sensitive. It may need to be adjusted. You will need to find the alarm module and see if it has a built in shock sensor or if it separate. Either way adjusting the sensor will help.

CAR ALARM SOUNDS OFF ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT WHY

Generally with this model your fault will lie with the shock or microwave motion sensor if fitted, turn these down and try again, you may have to go to a dealer to do this if its not in your manual

No response when i try to lock/unlock the car alarm

try changing the battery first....if it's still not functioning properly then maybe your shock sensor is defective already...go to a car accessories shop that installs car alarms...you could have them check your alarm first and they would know if your alarm could be repaired or not...good luck.
