How can i connect my subwoffer to my preamp (mark levinson 38)

AVR-E400 has an RCA subwoofer output. This is a line level signal that must be connected to an ACTIVE subwoffer (has its own power amplifier) Also the source must contain subwoffer signal (5.1, 7.1, 9.1 surround sound etc) You will not get subwoffer signal from a stereo source such as audio CD, non-dolby type TV etc. Cheers, Don.

The cable you need to connect the subwoofer to the receiver is a Male RCA to Male RCA, Mono shielded cable, the length can be chosen according to your needs.

Sounds like the 12v constant wire is dead, usually the yellow wire connected to the radio. Check for correct voltages.

i have hts 3455/98 i connect perfectly all cables but sound is coming from only one speaker. pl help me about this problem.

yeh uhh u might wonna get the voice coil checked thats the problem with the speakers now days they dont really make them like they use to

on the back of your receiver is a subwoofer pre-out, connect one cable here, and connect the other end of this cable to your subwoofer - line level in. (depends on your subwoofer and receiver) but that's how mine is connected. yours will be similar.

I might need some clarification on your question and what you are needing this receiver to do . But let me take a shot at this. Your amp has a powered output via the speaker terminals and a preamp output via your record output rca jack or any other rca jacks label preamp out or preout. I is no switch to turn your power amp on while leaving your preamp on, but you can switch the speaker a and or b switch off if you like. If you are refering to a powered subwoofer set up you would connect this to your preamp subwoofer out jack then very the level with the subwoffers volume control. You might need more detail in your question if this is not what your looking for.

First you need to put speakers in horizontal line and high where you will be seating. That must be your center point. Focuses all speaker in that point. Subwoffer must be in fron of you and the central speaker. With satellite do what I say for center point!

Hi haopu not a problem..u wil get something called a splitter..Its the device that is used for DSL connections but u can use it for ur cause..it will have one input and two outputs..connect your phone line into the slot marked phone nd ur FAX line into the slot marked MODEM..THTS ALL..If u need more help regarding this you can post back..
