I have a dodgy switch & want to get inside the casing to see what the problem is ? How do you get into the casing ?

Could be a wiring problem or a dodgy switch but might be serious so don't ignore it and best not to drive it until it has been checked.

If the engine is dirty inside an oil change can sometimes cause trouble and the possibility your engine might be having a thrombosis cannot and should not be ignored...

there must be a blockage in the crank case vent /pipe, probably, you could try tightening the fuel tank cap a bit more after filling up , i know this sounds a bit dodgy but you could have a weak seal and the EVAP system is recording emission to atmosphere , otherwise get the OBD CODES READ TO SEE IF THERE IS A FAULTY SENSOR/SWITCH

Hi usually its simply a blown fuse, worse case it could be a dodgy indicator switch, the metal connectors can wear away so they dont contact causing the switch not to work

now i presume you've regassed the system?? wont come on unless some form of gas is in there. if its all gased remove the wires from the pressure & temp switchs and bridge them, could be a dodgy switch or even a dodgy ac button, check power to compressor. good luck :)

Your speed switch is between gears, pull the trigger lightly and slide the speed switch back and fourth until it is fully engaged. Also turn the clutch setting all the way down then all the way back to lock it is not uncommon for them to get dodgy.

If its less than a year ago, Take it back, to the retailer, as there is a statutory 12 month guarantee on the majority of goods in the UK. If its older than 12 months, you could try having a look inside the back, may be its a dodgy connection from the main AV board to the Screen, disconnect the connector have a look for any undue signs, and reconnect it at both ends. Failing that, you may have to bite the bullet and take it to a TV repairer for them to tell you its a Dodgy AV/RF board, which are now obsolete, or you may be luckier than me. If that is the case, try looking on ebay for AV board for you TV model/make. Hope that helps a bit

Did you ever work out how to get the casing off??

I managed to drop my iron on a dodgy angle and some of the plastic casing has popped out and I don't want to force it back in when it clearly needs to be opened and put together again in the correct alignment.

If you know how to open it past the 3 screws, please tell....Thanks

The tacho signal is taken off the coil, not off the engine - I would suspect a dodgy electrical connection or dodgy tacho

i presume your channels are showing as black screen with a blue box saying updating code please wait. If this is the case youll need to re enter the latest codes. do you know your area code and ill get the codes for you.
