Testimonial: "Thanks so much for the quick response, the manual is for the later model CD player but still gives me the info I need. It appears the equaliser button (and some others) aren't working on the remote so I'll try to get a replacement. I guess this is where the unit is flawed, there is no way to input osme commands manually so when the remote is gone so is the functinality."

How do I fix TDK NX-4cd having no volume?

If your TDK NX-4CD has no volume and the CD door does not open, here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
  1. Check the mute function: Make sure the unit is not set to mute. Look for a dedicated mute button on the unit or on the remote control and ensure it is not activated. If there is no dedicated mute button, check the volume controls and settings to ensure they are not turned all the way down or set to minimum levels.
  2. Reset the system: Perform a system reset by disconnecting the power source from the TDK NX-4CD. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and leave it unplugged for at least 10-15 minutes. This will allow the unit to fully power down and reset. After the waiting period, plug the power cord back in and test if the volume issue is resolved.
  3. Check the speaker connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are securely connected to the appropriate terminals on the back of the unit. Sometimes loose or disconnected speaker wires can result in no sound. Additionally, check for any visible damage to the speaker wires and repair or replace them if necessary.
  4. Clean the CD player mechanism: If the CD door does not open when pressing the Open button, it could be due to a mechanical issue. Gently clean the CD player mechanism using compressed air or a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris that may be obstructing the door's movement. Be careful not to force the door open to avoid causing further damage.
  5. Seek professional repair: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may indicate a more significant problem with the internal components of the TDK NX-4CD. In such cases, it is advisable to contact a professional audio equipment repair service or contact TDK customer support for further assistance. They will have the expertise and specialized tools to diagnose and repair the specific issues with your unit.
It's important to note that attempting any repairs or disassembling the unit yourself may void any existing warranty and could potentially cause further damage. Therefore, if you are not comfortable with electronics repair, it is best to seek professional assistance.

How to change the volume on my naxa nx 144 mp3 player

You can change the volume of your naxa nx 144 video player by;
1.Pressing and then holding down the VOL Button for about four to five seconds
2.After you do that you will see the number near the center of the bottom of the screen on the player's screen start to blink or flash.
3.When it is still flashing press the |<< O >>| or what some people including myself call the Rewind or Fast Forward buttons until the number that is still flashing on the bottom of the screen is a diffirent number then when it was when it started flashing earlier.
4. After you change the still flashing number for the player's volume until you get it as loud or as quiet as you desire repeat the first step by holding down the VOL Button once again for about four or five seconds and....v`iola it should be adjusted to your liking now.

Oh yeah before I forget here is a friendly word of advice for you. DO NOT FORGET and leave the volume on real loud and then play your song,video or,ect. before turning you volume back down because it will be REALLY LOUD and REALLY PAINFUL ON YOU EARS.
Thank You and I hope this helps for you.
