I need advise who can fix my TV

Good day, I have a JVC 39" model no. LT-39N510 - When you switch tv off at plug or there is loadshedding, the tv does not want to come on again, only after 2 days, and this is the problem since the day I bought it. I took it back to Game, they tested it and of course it worked fine, but at home it is still doing it and is so annoying. Can you help?

You are not the only consumer who has had this issue with their JVC TV. Game Appliances should have easily replicated the problem and once they got the TV operating again they have argued it is OK when it is not. If still under warranty I would contact JVC and complain and get them to advise another business that can fix it under warranty.

If it is out of warranty I think you will find the problem is with the internal power board which is a replaceable item.

You cannot control power outages to your home but at any time you want to switch the power off at the power point make sure the TV set itself is switched off first. If you do that you may not have the same issue with recovery.

JVC are a poor brand with a price to match and in future I would avoid them as I would avoid Samsung, LG, Palsonic and many lesser brands. I always buy panasonic and have never had an issue with any of their products.

Always use a power surge protector on your major electrical items.

suspect line voltage could be too low. suggest getting it tested to see what voltage is at outlet .May be brownouts or one phase is missing in street power lines. I had this happen a fuse on the power pole in street blew and the voltage was low to my house until power company fixed fuse. How old is the wiring in the house it may need checking if old as well as switchboard by an electrician.
This problem may be a warning sign of future wiring problems in your house !

How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy.
If you're sound in electronics, and wish to get more details, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.
