How to add favorite website to iPad

Hi Henry,
I hope this helps:

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Navigate to your desired website.
  3. You'll see at the top of your screen an arrow coming out of a square, click this.
  4. Then, press 'Add Bookmark'.
  5. There will be a few fields popup, you most likely not need to change, but if you wish thats fine (Except second field, leave this the same).
  6. Press done.
  7. They will automatically be Bookmarked in a folder called Favourites, you can change this later.
I have added a link below to help.

How to delete websites i have visited

Clearing history on the iPad is pretty quick and easy:

1. Tap the "Settings" from the home screen.
2. Tap on "Safari".
3. Scroll down and you will see the "Clear History, Clear Cookies and the Clear Cache" section.

Just clear the ones you want or all of them to reset the browser.

Hope that helps!

When I tap on safari I get a list of favorites how can I delete what I no longer want

You can go into "Managing my Favorites" then select the ones you want to delete. Some browsers only let you remove one item at a time, so be patient and go with the flow.

Why does it show I have 4778 emails since I read them and deleted them all on my ipad2

It depends on your email service - most only show a copy of your emails on the iPad ..... Just because you read the email didn't remove it & it still on your server. I am guessing you have some web accessed email - like gmail, use safari to get to the gmail site and delete the messages you no longer want
