Hi Shane, i recommend you check the fuses on the tiller ..

if all okay check the fuses located on the battery leads , if fitted and check the connections to the controller which is located under the foot panel..

Lights will not turn off and after turning on scooter in a few minutes, hear a beeping

If the lights on your Golden 3-wheel scooter won't turn off and you hear a beeping sound after turning it on, it could indicate a potential issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the key switch: Ensure that the key is inserted fully into the key switch and turned to the correct position. Sometimes, if the key is not fully engaged or turned properly, it can cause electrical issues. Try removing the key, reinserting it, and turning it to the correct position.
  2. Examine the battery connections: Inspect the battery connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Loose or corroded connections can affect the scooter's electrical system. If you notice any loose or corroded connections, carefully tighten or clean them as needed.
  3. Verify the charger connection: If the scooter is connected to a charger, make sure it is properly plugged in and connected to the scooter. A loose or faulty charger connection can cause electrical malfunctions. Try unplugging and reconnecting the charger to ensure a secure connection.
  4. Check the scooter's manual: Refer to the owner's manual or user guide for your specific model of Golden 3-wheel scooter. It may provide troubleshooting steps or information about the beeping sound and lights issue you are experiencing. Look for any error codes or indications that can help diagnose the issue

Hi, I have a gogo mobility scooter...when the key is pushed nothing happens, no sound, no indicator, i checked connection, batteries are charged, lever is in the right position...any idea what could b

Get a 24v circuit tester http://www.amazon.com/OEM-25886-6-24V-Circuit-Tester/dp/B0014WIVX6

Connect the black lead to the negative side of the battery open the tiller head and expose the key switch, use the probe end of the circuit tester to probe the two wire connections, one connection should have 24volts on it.If there is no voltage at the key switch this means you don't have power getting to the tiller head. Check the cable that connects the tiller head to the body of the scooter, that both sides are plugged in and tight. Check all breakers, fuses, check all the wires in that they hide the fuses all over the place. Unplug and replug checking for pushed pins. You can start at the battery and chase the 24volt thought the wiring. The beauty of the circuit tester is that long sharp probe. Its perfect for sliding down the side of a wire in order to reach a pin on a connector.. If 24v is present on the pin the tester will light up, So if on one side it lights up but on the other side it doesn't pull the connector apart and reconnect to re-seat the pins, look for pushed pins. Hope this helps

No power when key is turned on

It sounds like the batteries have gone bad and need to be replaced. Check your fuses as well.

The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will solidify. If you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. When you turn on the power chair, nothing happens. The charger will indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of pwer, they are full of crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacment as this is due to customer neglect, but your insurance may still cover the replacement if you can wait for the process to go through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own, type U1, 24v 33 amp. Good luck!

Battery is fully charged but when I turn ignition key nothing happens, on light does'nt come on and needle does'nt move battery level

Has the scooter been sitting unused for a while? If so, the gel inside the rechargeable batteries may have gone solid. When you connect the charger, the light shows green indicating the batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of crud. The scooter can sit for just a few weeks and this will happen. If the batteries are new or have been properly maintained, try checking your fuses and all the connections/leads as this certainly sounds like a power problem.
Good luck!

Just bought my dad a second hand go go 3 wheel elite scooter

Hi Linda. Sometimes if there is a blown fuse or faulty connector on the battery leads, the charger thinks the batteries are charged as the voltage coming out of the charger rises to the high level. Some chargers will cut out if this happens. It is probably not the charger.
Make sure the batteries are plugged in correctly, sometimes during transport they will get knocked and become disconnected.
Also make sure that the battery terminals are not loose where the wires connect to the batteries.
Good luck. Neil.

Scooter just beeps when key turned

Hi. That fault is the speed lever. It can also be the small dial that alters your top speed. It pays to replace both of these at the same time. Some of these machines also develope the same fault from a faulty controller. Good luck. Neil.
