I have Emerson LF501EM5F TV ( 50 inch LED). It suddenly went off and does not switch on now. When i plug it back, It is making beeping sound.

Hi.. thanks for your response.. The Main board you are referring to, is it the power Board or the board with all external ports ?
Main board and power board are different. The main board is one that has all the external connections to be connected. Like AV in/out, HDMI etc: It is otherwise called as the main digital board.

More than the tv power supply board have problems in this tv,don't know yet.But the whinning sound,the power supply board is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.First must see how it turn out.

You have a bad power switch, it's two that you have to replace the one connected to the remote sensor and one connected to the manual switch parts are reasonable but labor to put them on can cost.
It has bad capacitors if you can unplug it and take off the back cover and look at the capacitors! just google bad caps and you will see what a cap is and what they look like bad and good!
