1) sounds like that accudry sensor needs checking. If the accudry sensor (the back box with the two silver trips in it under the lint filter) does not sense wet garment it coul cause the dry to start and then cut off or not start at all. did you try using a cycle that does not sense the load you are dying. 2) the mother board of the dry may need chnaging depening on your dryer. if your dryer is like the cabrio, duet or the senseon dryer then it could be a motherboard problem.
you have a blown thermal fuse. you can get one where they have parts it is about 5 dollars.

Hello, reading between the lines I'm going to assume you have a gas dryer. This problem is going to be your safety valve coils...basically they get old and over time of heating then cooling develop a short when they heat up...It may appear the gas lights to start but then goes out until the safety valve coils cool back down. Here is a picture of the coils This should solve your problem. Hope this helps, Please feel free to comment again if you have any further questions or concerns. Good Luck! Mike

Hi-- none of the solutions I've read here are working. Same problem, dryer not starting, it says "Sensing..." and then "Wet" and does nothing. It worked fine on the last load, except I noticed it read 11 minutes for a very, very long time (I think it got stuck). New load? "Sensing..." etc.
