All that I can think of is to check that the motor is getting power.

This sounds like the controller is going bad. I have experiance with the Pro-Form series tread mills.
When you buy any excercise equipment always buy the extended warranty. It will definately pat for itself.

If you have not lubricated the deck I suggest you doing so you may purchase the lube @ Gymparts.com Part # TM001

It is just plastic. You can wedge a piece into the slot

I believe E4 on ths 730si means that the speed of the motor the sensor is detecting is greater than the set speed. E2 would be the opposite. I believe there is a way to calibrate the speed. Look at the smaller motor controller board.

My Proform 550 doess not work the treadmill is not getting any power. Wht might the problem be.
