My frigidaire front load washer will not spin out and empty water on its last cycle. It hums through this cycle, then washers some more, timer goes off, and water does not empty out.
Where is this screen filter? mine is washing and rinse but no fast spin or finale spin we had replaced all the mother boards and still have the problem. checked hoses nothing in there. motor is fine. no problems on trouble shoot mode . machine is 3 years old . dryer mother board went out after first year having it .was brand new . wont buy again crappy stuff... frigidaire.!!!!

I found out that there is a screen/filter on the front on the bottom that needs to be cleaqned out regularly!!!!!! now it works fine,it was loaded with stuff..
Most likely something is stuck in the pump. it could also be that you are not using high effiency detergent.
My problem is that water is still draining when it goes to final spin. final spin is not working properly. then machine shuts itself off before timer.
Hi John - Often when a unit does not spin, it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. The humming noise is mainly caused due to the drainage hose/pump possibly being clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may be experiencing another possible issue with the faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit.

I have the same problem. Thought that I might have over loaded washer, took some of the wet laundry out and started rinse cycle. Still won't spin.

It also says it might not spin if the load is too light. That's not the problem with mine either. HELP! It's 3 months out of warranty and a service call is $95!!I use HF detergent.
Haven't checked the pump yet, but think that won't be the problem.
Machine spins between wash and rinse cycle, just will not do a final spin.
MFG book says check load distribution. Mine was OK.

I just started having this problem today. The final spin is not working properly.
i have a frigidaire front load washer ftf2140fs1 that will wash then first spin cycle but not do the final spin cycle
displays error code 11, which indicates the pressure switch, however , I manually connect and disconnect the switch terminals, to simulate a fill and empty cycle . I'm assuming the switch is either on 0 ohms, or off, high resistance. So, can I assume the problem is in the motor control board?.th
Washer won't fill with water, only spins. I replaced the timer and same thing. Is there a reset button. I think I fixed this problem last time by pressing a reset button but can't recall where it is?
