How do I remove the battery from a Hyundai i20?

Battery leads removed but there appears to be something restraining the lip of the battery on both sides at the bottom and there is no room to slide the battery out. It has to lift out but is firmly stuck

Just struggled with the same issue in the i20 automatic 2013. There are two bolts holding down the clip at the back of the battery. They are behind the electrical plate which is directly behind the battery. You will also have to remove the nut attaching the arm of the plate to the chassis above and to the right of the battery. Then you can wiggle out the battery taking it out of the back clamp first.

I have a 2005 Hyundai Sonata. Is there a certain way to remove the 120a fuse from the fusible link. The fusible link is connected to the postive wire to the battery in this case. The old fuse fell apart...

Hi. That 120 Amp fuse can be replaced. I've included two photos so you can see what you are dealing with. The fuse holder has two separate screws that pinch and restrain the two copper tabs of the fuse. Screws have to be used because of the higher load. Let me know if there is anything else. Good Luck.

Any special instructions for replacing the battery in my 2007 Azera Ltd? I don't want to fry a circuit

easy way to replace the battery, is to undo the battery harness that holds in into the vehicle, then using a 10 mm spanner, undoe the terminal bolts, if you have a coded stereo, then i would advise to either look and make sure you have the code, or, using either jump leads from another vehicle, connect them to the neck of the battery wires, thus supplying a continuous supply so that the codes are not lost. then remove the leads from the battery on your vehicle and remove the old battery. replace with a new battery, tighten up the terminals and replace the battery harness. remove the jump leads and there you have replaced the battery
