Frankly, it sounds that you've taken the necessary steps to ensure color printing.  Just for giggles, try reinstalling the software drivers.  Here is the link to the driver for your machine.  You'll need to select the operating system (Windows 2000, XP... etc) to get the driver you need.

Sounds like the driver need to be reloaded. Remove/ Un-install the printer from you computer, Reboot your computer, then re-install the driver or in simple terms re-install the printer.

1. make sure you are using the correct print driver.
2.check that printing preferences are set correctly in said drivers.
3. if these suggestions don't work, then make sure your application settings are set correctly, and order the most recent firmware dimm you can find. this machine cannot be flashed and in order to upgrade the machine "BIOS", you must install a new firmware dimm onto the emod (electronics module).
