Broil and Bake element not heating
Things to check : Thermostat, heating element and the circuit breaker for the stove at the power panel. If the stove has lights and the clock works, there is a 100 % chance the circuit breaker is at fault. There are 2 breakers with joined trip handles. One of those breakers has tripped without tripping the other which stops 20 volts but not 120 volts that the clock and light run off of. You can use a multimeter to check the element for continuity. If there is continuity then check for the presence of voltage at the element terminals. None indicates a bad thermostat.

What is the complete model # from the sticker on the range? I will need that so I can look into this for you. I will say that I have seen, in several cases, where the oven control gets a surge and fries after an element has broken.

oh bleep, right? well, if you're lucky this will get you going again. 1. disconnect power to range. 2. remove back metal cover just above range power cord (usually 5 quarter inch hex screws) 3. look for burnt off wire leading to/from bake element. If yes, 4. strip ends of broken wire and splice with ceramic wire nut if no 4. bad news. replace ERC (electronic range control) you fried something on the board. It's got the clock display and all the electronics behind it.

this may seem like a silly question if you've already tried it but have you checked the over temp breaker? If you have no idea what I'm saying there is a breaker on the back side of your machine. Of course Thermador is so kind to place it convenietly behind the back panel so you'll have to remove that. There should be a little red button in there somewhere toward the top middle half of the machine I should say. If you press that button it may work.
SOURCE: Stove won't heat
Oven was working, I had it on pre-heat, then I turned on the stove top, but the burners won't heat. When I turn on the stove top the stove makes a short BUZZ noise and the clock area lights up, when the burner is turned off all the lights go out. Please help, food prepared.
Thank You

Your oven ignitor has gone out. This is located under the pan in the bottom of the oven. This is held in with 2 screws in the back portion of the pan. This will expose the ignitor and then 2 screws take it out. Replace this and this will fix it. very common problem
