Cetra jetted bathtub. Is ground strap required?

We are selling our house and the buyer's home inspector said that the pump motors on our Jacuzzi jetted bath tubs need a ground strap to the cold water pipe. The installation instructions do not mention this - the only electrical requirement is that a GFI circuit breaker should be used. Has anyone heard of the ground strap thing?

For replacement parts your best bet is to you use the on-line dealer locator:

or you can shop on-line from one of their authorized retailers; however did not see any of the parts you are looking for at the sites I checked:

I have a whirlpool jacuzzi tub. I wired to diagram but when tub is full and I turn on jets it trips a breaker. Not GFCI outlet but breaker panel breaker.

Sounds like you may not have a ground on the motor of the pump or a grounded outlet?
check the wiring on the motor on the cord to make sure there are no wires improperly attached inside the motor housing.

Jacuzzi whirlpool bath not working when i turn it on i get a buzzing sound

buzzing sounds tend to be a motor problem. You may need to change the pump. When you turn it on it just buzzes? that indicates a bad motor.

My jets wont turn on

All the electric power source to all jacuzzi tubs all required to be protected by a "ground fault" device. Have you noticed special wall receptacles in your kitchen and bathroom that have 'test' and 'reset' buttons? There may be a receptacle (or something that looks like a receptacle but without any slots for plugs) near the tub. Push the reset button. If the pump for the tub has an access panel, the device may be behind the panel. And last, the circuit breaker in the main electrical panel may be a ground fault type and needs reset there. Good Luck
