1. Turn off power
2. Press and hold "Play/ Pause" button until time flashes on hour.
3. Use the << / >> buttons to change the time NOT the "+/-" buttons
4. Press and hold "Play/ Pause" button until time flashes on minutes.
5. Use the << / >> buttons to change the time NOT the "+/-" buttons
6. Press and hold "Play/ Pause" button until time flashes on days.
7. Use the "<< / >>" buttons to change the time NOT the "+/-" buttons

TRUST THIS WILL WORK BECAUSE I HAVE ONE AND THE INFORMATION THAT EVERYONE HAS PUT ON HERE WAS BS.

Most of these timers have 3 buttons, the hand and the plus and minus buttons. Try pressing the minus and plus buttons at the same time. The display should flash. Then adjust the time with the plus and minus buttons. If this doesn't work just try different combinations of pressing 2 buttons. If the timer is not faulty on of these combinations will work.

You need to clean the video heads and change the push buttons that not work

Try resetting it. Remove front panel, on main unit is an indent that says reset, insert ballpoint to reset and replace front panel. Everything should now work although you will need to reset stations and clock.

Replace the remote first.

mode is time, press both buttons simultaneously. This did not work for some time. I tried pulling the crown in and out and then doing it. Probably not related. The buttons may not have been making good contact?
At any rate, this changes the analog hour to the selected zone.

Hi here are the steps to change the date and time

1.Press Menu
2. Use the < or > buttons to select System Setup and press the check button.
3. Use the < or > buttons to select Time/Date press check button
4.Use the < or > buttons to select the 12 oclock or 24 hour clock and press the check button.
5.Use the alphanumeric buttons to set the current time.
6.Use the alphanumeric buttons to set use two digits to specify the month,day and year and press check
