Google maps starts sound when ur in navigation mode.

1. Open the Google Maps app .
2. Search for a place or tap it on the map.
3. In the bottom right, tap Directions . If you touch and hold the button instead, you'll start navigation and can skip steps 4-6.
4. Optional: To add additional destinations, go to the top right and tap More Add stop. You can add up to 9 stops. When you are finished, tap Done.
5. Choose one of the following:
   • Driving:
   • Transit:
   • Walking:
   • Rides:
   • Cycling:
6. If other routes are available, they will be shown in gray on the map. To follow an alternate route, tap the gray line.
7. To start navigation, tap Navigate . If you see "Searching for GPS," your phone is trying to get a GPS signal. For example, you might be in or near a tunnel, parking garage, or other location where there's no GPS signal.
8. To stop or cancel navigation, go to the bottom right and tap Exit.

NOTE:
Navigation is not available in all countries. depends on availability

When you mean does not work, does the unit power up or is it plain dead? If it does not turn on, then you will need to troubleshoot or send out for repair.

If it turns on, but does not provide you with maps, you need to load maps for Australia as you currently have US maps loaded on the device.

Google search for Australia maps for your unit, or contact Garmin customer service.

This will be very similar for other browsers too.

1. Open your browser
2. Touch menu, which is the 3 dot stacked on the task bar at bottom of screen.
3. Touch setting at bottom of the list.
4. Touch "Privacy & Security.
5. Touch "Clear History"

If you scroll down you may also "Clear form data" this will removed from memory anything you have typed while searching on the web too.

For your information, Nokia 5320 does not has GPS receiver and so you cannot use maps for navigation.

You do not have to turn anything on. Use Google maps (download from www.m.google.com/maps) or any other maps that you like and set it up to use built-in GPS device. When you start using these maps, they will on their own stat the GPS and start using it. You will get an indication by a dish being displayed on the screen. This can be used by the mobile alone, you cant use it on your computer like other bluetooth GPS'.
