SOURCE: Compatibility with Sitecom wl 031

This 10dBi omni directional antenna enables you to very easily extend the range of your wireless network. By linking the Omni Antenna to your wireless router, you gain the benefits of an optimum wireless signal while minimising the number of ‘dead spots’ (points in your home where the signal is either weak or lost).
However it does not fit the following types of routers, modems and accespoints:
WL-143
WL-122v2
WL-114/WL-517
WL-114v2
WL-108/WL109
WL-111
WL-106
WL-025
WL-018v2
These antenne's will also fit other brands of wireless products that use an SMA connector

Tips for best respection tv antenna

Hi there, usually the bigger the antenna the better and getting one that is directional. if you live far where the broadcast antennas are. if you are close like in the city and the broadcast antennas are not all in one direction from you, you may need one that is omni-directional.that will pick up in all directions. an outdoor one like used to be on houses in the past would really pick up well.I also found that the ones used on RVs pick up well. Good Luck

Hi could someone tell me what the difference between semi directional and omni directional and multi channel surround sound on a home cinema is ? K

Omni means it can receive from a full circle, semi directional means it must be pointed in the general direction of the signal in degrees of arch..

I only get two HD cheannels with an amplified HD antenna. How can I get the scanner to find more?

That may be all that are in range. You will have to look up you location on Antenna finder. That will tell you what HD channels are available, the direction and the distance. The type of antenna matters quite a bit as well. If you have an Omni directional that sticks to your window then you will only have about 25 miles of reception. A larger directional one will get you up to 125 miles. You may also need a preamp depending on signal strength.

Why is cable reception snowy and exterior antenna said no signal?

Cable reception is a cable company question. The only reason I say that is because they will do it free for you. It is going to be signal too strong , too weak or it is a bad connector. The antenna is going to depend on a few things. Are you aimed correctly? If this and Omni directional then you need to figure out how far you are from the tower sending the signal. The Omni directional antennas are only good for 50 miles tops and that is some models. You may also need a preamp in line for your signal to be strong enough if you do not have one in line. If you have a lot of runs going on the antenna (several room feeds) then you may also need an adjustable amplifier after the preamp.

Help!!

Is that a little 2.4GHz antenna on the reciever? Have you tried using another antenna? (If its replaceable)
On the other hand, try converting signal from omni-directional to directional.
One can increase the range of the transmitter/receiver pair by using a high gain directional antenna. Home-brew instruction for making a high gain antenna can be found at:

Can not get any digital channels

Digital TVs do require a fairly strong signal in order to operate properly. The fact that your set is displaying the "weak or no signal" message is proof that the incoming signal is below the required signal input level threshold.
A "rabbit ears" type of antenna would only work if you were right next to the broadcast transmitter. I assume that you have the rabbit ears fully extended and that you have tried slowly rotating it from one side to the other to see if you can get a signal lock. But seriously I doubt it.
You should check into either a set-top amplified antenna, or a larger roof or attic mounted antenna. Note: While the larger antenna should provide a much stronger (better) signal, they tend to be directional. You might have to put it on a rotator so that you can "steer" (aim) the antenna toward a particular signal. For most people, this is unrealistic due to the expense and complexity.
My recommendation is to get an amplified omni-directional set-top antenna designed to receive DTV signals

I have just bought the Bush combi A322d hd ready lcd 22 inch tv/dvd. I have tried several times to tune it in but it doesn't tune in all the digital program properly that I had before using a standard tv...

Is your antenna "omni" or "uni" directional? "Omni" means you won't have to aim the antenna but "uni" antennas have to be pointed in the direction the nearest tower/s. You'll want to go to AntennaWeb.org and enter your address. This will show you locations and distances of TV towers in your area. My location is over 39 miles from any tower so I get virtually no reception with regular HD antenna. If your more than 20 miles you'll need to get a fairly high gain antenna and have to aim it in the direction of the TV tower.
