Start/Pause button on Bush washing machine

If the Start/Pause button on your Bush washing machine has come away from its hole and you are unable to get it to sit back in place, it's possible that the button or the button panel may be damaged and need to be replaced.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check for any debris or obstruction: Before attempting any repairs or replacements, check the button and the hole for any debris or obstruction that may be preventing the button from sitting back in place. Use a soft cloth to clean the area and remove any debris.

2. Realign the button: If the button is misaligned, you may be able to realign it by gently pushing it back into place. Use a small flathead screwdriver or similar tool to align the button in the hole carefully.

3. Replace the button or button panel: If the above steps do not work, it's likely that the button or button panel is damaged and needs to be replaced. You can contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician to replace the button or button panel.
It's important to note that attempting repairs or replacements on your own can be dangerous and may void the warranty of the washing machine. It's always best to contact a qualified technician for assistance.

I have a kenmore he5t dryer. I think the start button is bad. What is the fix?

If you suspect that the start button on your Kenmore HE5T dryer is faulty, there are a few steps you can take to address the issue:
  1. Confirm the problem: Before assuming the start button is the cause, check if there are any other factors contributing to the dryer not starting. Ensure that the dryer is properly plugged in, the door is securely closed, and the control settings are correctly selected.
  2. Troubleshoot other components: If the dryer still doesn't start after checking the above factors, it's worth checking other components that could potentially affect the start function. This includes the thermal fuse, door switch, and the timer. A malfunctioning component other than the start button could be causing the problem.
  3. Replace the start button: If you have determined that the start button is indeed the cause of the issue, the fix would involve replacing the faulty button. You can purchase a replacement start button from an authorized Kenmore parts distributor or directly from the manufacturer. Refer to the user manual or online resources for instructions specific to your model on how to replace the start button.
  4. Seek professional assistance: If you are not comfortable or experienced in appliance repair, it's advisable to consult a professional technician or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further guidance. They can provide expert advice and ensure that the start button replacement is done correctly.
Remember, proper diagnosis of the issue is essential to determine if the start button is the actual problem. If you're unsure about performing any repairs yourself, it's always recommended to seek professional assistance to avoid further damage or injury.

I hit power button then start start light flashes and wont start

If your start button is flashing even when you hit your start button . Your electronic touch control board (ETC) is not working correctly . Either the intergrated curcuit board is not responding or the actuator on touch panel is broken . Push start button in and see if the button makes a clicking noise. If it does replace curcuit board , if it does't replace the part where you touch.

Button not working correctly

the button is fine
the button starts a relay that controls the very high currents for the heaters and motor
the relay is dead, or has come loose from its connections
if the cables have come off reattach them
otherwise, replace,
not expensive to replace ~$29

trace the cables from the button to the relay 5be4575.jpgnot all relays are transparent.
