Possibly due to lightning last night the TV firmware has got corrupted. There is nothing in the TV manual. I doubt if this is even a legitimate brand/model since nothing's online.. or maybe that's just classic Telefunken behaviour. On powering on the TV displays the Telefunken logo and name and then it says "Software Update (US.. USB Connect Detec.." Yes it does shows the dots... doesn't even completely echo the remaining characters. Kindly let me knpow where can I get the firmware for TFK 4208 LED. The manual is the same for 4208/3201. Thanks

SOURCE: TELEFUNKEN TV DOES NOT SHOW PICTURE OR SOUND
Hi,
Without knowing the specific model, I can only venture that somehow the Parental Lock has been engaged. Often to disable/disengage, a password/code of some sort is required with entry through the remote.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
SOURCE: durabrand tv code
Ok because I don't know the exact remote your using you'll need to try all the codes one at a time. Also not all remotes work with DuraBrand televisions the one I see that works the best is a GE universal $7 remote from walmart set to code 189
But try these codes in your remote 0189 0180 0179 0171
0463 0236 0019 0180 0280 0179 0154 0177 0178 0038 0185 0282

SOURCE: firmware problem for zen vision M
I had the same issue with my zen vision m. It was not recognized on any computer (although it would charge) and I noticed that when I turned it on after having it off for any amount of time, the zen would rebuild half way before turning on.
If this is what is happening with you, then this one solution I found to fix it:
Download the MP3 Recovery Tool from Creative Support website. Make sure that your Zen is charged at least half. Turn on your Zen, Holding the power switch in the on position (Very Important!). While holding the Power switch on, Reset the Zen by inserting a small object in the Reset hole on the bottom of the Zen (small objects can include thumbtack, wire, earring, etc...). You will see a menu: Clean Up, Format, Reload OS/Firmware, Reboot. (It is now safe to stop holding the Power switch) I decided to go down the list until something worked. I ran Clean Up first and that didn't work for me, so I tried Format. It will remove all of your data. Once Format runs, Reboot the MP3 player and plug it up to the computer. Run MP3 Recovery Tool. The firmware should should install itself on your MP3. Once installed, your computer should recognize the Zen.
I hope this helps!
