Camera is unable to initialize. How can I fix it?

not sure what you exactly mean when you say failed to set up the camera device. as far as i know the camera on your HTC HD2 is already set up and has its little piece of software that controls it. you may be unable to use your camera in cases when you installed additional software to your phone and altogether the running processes are using up all memory on your phone so when you press the camera button on your touchscreen it cannot start up. another possibility is that you were asking about photo camera problem but you posted in the wrong place. sorry, i'm not blaming it on you bu it may happen.

Did you have installed the camera driver completely on your PC?

"Unable to Init" indicates a mechanical error, unless you're able to find a stuck paper or parts of a stuck paper or similar, you'll have to send the unit to service to have it fixed.

very easy,just do a hard reset all of the original programme will b back.

go to camera menu and perform Initialize camera and check.
if you provide model number of Sony camera it would be easy to help you in better way.

perform a master reset.. hold power and push reset button with stylus.

Note: you wil loose all ur data.

Go to the start menu, and select Settings. Select Connections from the bottom tabs and find the Bluetooth icon, and click on the bluetooth icon. Select Mode from the bottom tabs and check box that says "turn bluettoth on"

free up more memory (use task manager)

well i got the a340 and i just got it from my aunt and i got a new memory card and when i go to format it and at the very end theres a window that pops up and says Windows was unable to complete the format and when i turn on the cam it says card not initialized can anyone help me out?

When you are viewing your pictures, press the menu button and go into the option menu. then select set-up and go through the menus until you find 'format'. press ok and press left/right to select OK, and press ok. It should then be working.
