How do I fix timeon a casio dq 580

Battery life estimated at 2 years in the manual. Suspect a bad battery or other part replacement is necessary to fix this yourself, or pay to repair or replace.

Try the battery first. Make sure to do the all reset inside of the watch after changing the battery. If it is not the battery send it to Casio. They may change out the complete module.

1. press set button about 3 second until came the "[HIME"
2. press mode button to choose what you wanna change/ set
3. press st/sp to choose the right setting
done

You might need to carry out a calibration of the hands. i did on mine. Do a search for casio 4723 operating instructions

I think it means Timer. the descending one! good luck

Here is how you do it:

Looking at your watch face: the upper left button is A, upper right is B, lower left is C and lower right is D.

Get your watch into "Hand Setting mode" That is the mode witht he digital time and seconds above it.
From Day and Date window it would mean pushing button "C" six times to get to that mode.

Once in "Hand Setting Mode"
Hold down button "A" til time blinks, then press button "D" to advance the hands, to the desired time.

Press "A" to exit mode.

Press "C" to return to timekeeping mode.
