I want to replace oven

If you are wanting to know who to replace the unit then I think I can help. If this unit is above the kitchen range then there should be a cabinet above the oven. You need to look there for 2 bolts that go thru the cabinet floor into the microwave. have someone there to help hold the oven as you take out the bolts and the oven will come down it is also in some cases hanging on a lip on the back of oven so let it down slowly. There should be a plug in the cabinet as well so you will need to unplug it. Installing the new one is the reverse.

Microwave stopped heating

You likely need a new magnetron While the cabinet is open look for melted wires, fuse, burned traces on the circuit board, continuity on thermal cufoffs. If the fuse went then the capacitor needs replacing. Relays on microwaves stick sometimes and may need a firm hit or replacement. Check the continuity of the door switches (keep the resistance below .2 ohm or replace them too.

I have a plmv178hc Frigidaire microwave oven. The oven completely stopped working today in the middle of cooking a 3 min. meal. Nothing is working on it the breaker didn't go off and the outlet is working....

You need a microwave fuse. Also the reason for it blowing fuses may be that it's time to replace the capacitor inside. It may be time for a new magnetron too. If you have the top open look to wires that burned in two and may be touching the frame If that is so you may not need any parts at all. Also check the thermal cutoffs (button looking safety equipment)

GE MICROWAVE JVM1860CD NO POWER

It is time to replace the microwave oven, it is 11 years old and prices in microwaves has dropped considerably. To repair the old! magnetron would need to be replaced, "most expensive part" and other unknown problems would need to be addressed.

My microwave does not heat the food ,what to do to fix it.

Hi,
In order to fix this problem you will need two parts, diode (W10163432) and a magnetron (8206335). In order to replace these components, you will need to un-install the microwave. The cost would be about $100.00 for both pieces. To replace the microwave can cost you from $200-300. The cabinet would need to come off to get to these parts. Before you but the parts, look at new ones first.
Good Luck

Microwave stopped heating

I had the same oven for one and a half years and had the same problem. Had the sears repairman come out and he said the magnetron burned out and needed replacing for $285. It was never under warranty with the warranty that came with oven. I couldn't believe it! We had an independent repairman look at it and he found a design flaw that causes the magnetron to blow. If you replace the matnetron (megnatron?) it will work for awhile, maybe, but then just need to be replaced again. It's cheaper to buy a new microwave. In fact, I got out our old microwave that's over 20 yrs. old and still works--just isn't as fast and as new ovens. Good luck!

I have a sharp microwave oven R 1514. there are 4 buttons on the front and one is broken, will not pop back out. I bought new springs and need help with the installation

It looks like you need to remove the unit from the wall, remove the outer cabinet sheet metal, then remove about 6 screws from the backside of the control panel.
You should be able to tell as you get in there what needs to be removed.
But it doesn't look like you can access to replace without taking the outer cabinet off.
