How do I change access password

• Call 800.331.0500 from any phone or 611 from your AT&T wireless phone.
• Press the option for Voicemail Help, and then follow the prompts to reset your password.

you didn't say what computer you are using, but unless you remember the password, and you have only the one account or user, you cannot add a new user. If you have access to the Administrator account, you can change the password.

Access your wireless configuration by going to your browser and typing in the address bar

192.168.1.1 (unless you have changed your LAN IP then use that)

on the login screen put in the admin details(if you don't know look at the bottom of your router it has the info, it is usually admin:admin)

Go to Wireless settings and change the WPA2 or WEP Key to whatever you want.
Access iPhone with newly changed password.

theres a button on router that says wireless on netgear router will be your best salution is to change routers because your router is protected and locked fron any out side performance.

there is 2 possibility 2 change in router first WEP or wpa security code if in your router need password for connect it then you need to find that key code to enter in iPhone.
Second if in router MAC filter is enable then you need to add your iPhone MAC address in allow list of router.
For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Click on WAN settings and set those settings as your internet service provider settings.

Clickon wireless settings enable wireless then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router.
Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.
First find the mac address of your iPhone in network setup menu then add that mac id in mac filter of router configuration menu.Then save settings and check.

First of all you will have to configure your router to accept the iPhone. To do this you will need to go in to the router in your browser window and add your new device, it will ask you for your MAC number which can be found under the back cover of your iPhone or in your WIFI settings.

Then you will need to configure your router to either automatically assign an IP Address or use an allocated IP Address and use the same setting on your iPhone. Also, you will need to configure your router to either assign a DNS Server automatically or to use an allocated DNS Server and once again you will need to use the same settings on your iPhone.

Your IP Address is crucial in oreder for your iPhone to connect to your wireless network. Your DNS Server is crucial in order for your iPhone to access the internet through your wireless network.

Are you trying to connect to the wireless network ?
Or your new computer will be connected to router with the cable.
If it is hard wired to the router and the router is working for the other computers then you don't need to change anything on the router.
If you are trying to connect to the wireless network then you should know the wireless settings of the router.

Just reset the router and you can configure it again like before.

Remember this address and/or write it down, this address is the common address for your lynksys.

When a popup comes, asking for username/password.
Username: Admin or if it dont work try Superuser
password: password

Then look for Wireless Setting > WPA-PSK(Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key) > Then on the bottom should say security passphrase/password (Type in something you will remember or only you will know) >Save settings/Apply and exit.

Now since you've changed your wifi, you need to manually delete and search for your wifi agian since the settings are changed.

If your using Vista: (64bit)

Start > Network > Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Network > Highlight your Wireless connection ( Select Remove) > Add > Then go through the process of finding your wireless connection and you magically got back your protected wireless.
