I havent used my laptop in awhile and when i turned it on today and entered my password it would not accept it it says i need a disc which i do not have what can i do to get it working

Check in the motherboard manual how to reset the bios and with luck it will forget it needs a password.

If you don't want to open up the laptop and find the BIOS password jumper on the motherboard, you'll need to send it in to the manufacturer (or a good local tech) to get it reset. There is no other way to reset/remove a BIOS password.

You need to remember what the password is or take it to a Toshiba dealer who can fix it for you.

You can get a Password Reset disc download and burn to CD. Copy/paste the address below, into your address bar of your browser.

Download this file and burn it to CD. Put into drive and turn on PC, and boot from the CD. Follow instructions, choose the correct USER. & BLANK the password. make sure you say OK to write the data, and reboot. The logon password will now be reset blank.

Hi if u havent givent a Administrator password and ur using Windows XP operating system press ALT+CNTRL+DELETE ull get a widow to type the user name and password There type Administrator and press enter if u havent given the password. If u have and u dont remember then ull have to reinstall the OS

Can you press F8 at the boot screen to get into Safe mode

If you forgot your password you have to call customer service and ask them to transfer you to technical care for Sidekick phones so that they can perform a reset.

try typing your password in with the caps-lock on. many times this may go unoticed if both password fiels show * instead of the actual password being entered. if that doesnt work for ya go here and chose one of the 5 options to recover or delete the need for a password. you must first download these and creat an .iso disk to be run at startup.

Hook up to the router over ethernet

Browse to 192.168.2.1 (Assuming you havent changed Ip Address)
Click Secutiry in the left menu.
Enter Username and Password if required, click submit.

Youll now be able to see your WEP or WPA key
