If it connect to the outlet pipe/lance then it operates on SUCTION similar to blowing across the top of a beer bottle to make a noise. If thats the case it is a matter of blockage and ventilation of the soap bottle to allow air to enter as the soap is sucked out by the water flow.

Getting my honda gc 190 to use the soap out of the plastic container

Soap Injector Not Working Properly
When a soap injector is not working properly, the problem is generally fairly easy to isolate. Check the following:
1. If you have interchangeable tips, make sure the Black, soap tip is installed. Soap injectors will not work when high pressure nozzles are installed.
2. Be sure that the soap injector valve is turned on, and turn selector valve to desired setting.
3. A piece of debris may be caught in the injector valve, injector ball valve, or orifice. Disassemble and clean the injector.
4. If you have an adjustable nozzle, be sure it is in the low pressure position (away from the gun) to draw soap.

Interchangeable Tips
Your machine is supplied with either interchangeable tips or a multi-reg. Your machine is supplied with interchangeable spray tips. The black tip lowers your pressure and draws chemical. The other tips are for high pressure rinse at different spray angles. Red is 0 degree, yellow is 15 degree, green is 25 degree and white is 40 degree. The yellow tip is used for most standard applications. Be sure the quick coupler is fully engaged before pulling the trigger gun. Failure to do may result in the tip becoming a projectile and may be lost or damage to property or persons may occur.

2006 5.4 4x4. is there a difference in up steam and down. stream oxygen sensors

Yes, they function differently. The upstream sensors are used to adjust the injector pulse with for optimal mixture. The downstream sensors are only there to verify the converter is cleaning up any gas from the exhaust.

How do I get the soap to work on a Stihl RE125K washer thanks

your wand has a variable nozzle...you can turn the nozzle on your wand to adjust the width of the spray pattern...You can also push it out or pull it in from hi to low pressure....You need to pull it to low pressure so that it draws chemical through your chem injector. Good luck

Cleaning solution is not being distributed.I am using the the correct tip. What could the problem be?

Soap enters the water stream when pressure within the system is low enough to cause slight suction and there are no air entering soap injector hose. If the soap injector is clogged with soap/ debris, clean and reinstall hose. Inside soap injector is a spring and check-ball (ball can become stuck). Some injectors are adjustable (try adjusting). Most factory injectors do not adjust and work only under ideal conditions (soap must be thin like water not thick like dishwashing liquid). Consider adding an aftermarket injector that installs between the discharge hose and pump (not expensive).

I have a karcher 3000psi 2.5GPM.Is not vaccum to bring the soap in the water line. Thank. Ed

Some soap injectors have an adjustment that must be turned to allow or increase the amount of soap that enters the line. To make it work, install the blace tip on the wand (black tip has a very large hole/nozzle). With the black tip installed there will be very little pressure in the discharge hose and soap will enter. If your machine does not have an adjustable injector you dont need to do anything for it to work. If soap does not enter, stop enging and turn off water. Remove the injector fitting and check for debris. There is uaually a spring and checkball (very simple design).

I was able to use soap all last season, this year, i cannot get it to come thru, i know all about the low pressure deal, it seems to be clogged/ is there any way to specifically clean it where it enters...

Soap injectors are easily clogged or will not work because of design (air leaks will prevent chem from entering if chemical has to be drawn uphill) . They work with siphon action and will only work with very little pressure at the tip but good volume. If your siphon valve has the ball in place, however is missing the fine spring that holds the ball against seat (fine spring holds ball aginst intake fitting), the soap will not be sucked into stream. If ball and spring are in place, try elevating the soap container higher than the opening of the port (gravity feed may help to feed soap into system) . May be better to use an aftermarket downstream injector valve sold on ebay or many outlets. Cost about $20 but work better and are adjustable to save on soap. Search ebay for "Chemical Injector For Pressure Washers" or google "Pressure Washer Downstream Chemical Injectors" Various prices but lower price units work better than factory. Good luck

My pressure washer inlet tube does not syphon chemicals. The hose is fine and the strainer is new. Do I have to do anything to the pump body to make it work? It is a 2750psi Honda

you have downstream injection and this means only with low pressure will **** chemical you need a soap nozzle or check your injector make sure is in the right direccion

Rough idleing after pressure wash engine and fuel injector clean

Hi,
I'm assuming you added fuel injector cleaner to your fuel tank rather than using a direct pressure cleaner through your fuel injectors.
When a solvent/cleaner product is added to your fuel tank, carbonaceous deposits (basically the dirt and gunk accumulated over years) are flushed through the fuel system. This can cause major problems if the contaminants manage to enter your fuel pump and make their way past the seals. This can and has damaged good fuel pumps. Downstream of the pump is the fuel filter - once deposits reach the fuel filter, they may block it and reduce fuel flow. The next major problem areas are the injectors themselves (rather sensitive to dirty fuel) and the engine.
Fuel injector cleaner is not a product I would recommend using. Many major car manufacturer's have recently issued memos to repairers blacklisting the use of cleaner products due to the downstream damage that may potentially be caused by them.
You should replace your fuel filter once you've finished using the tank of injector cleaner. This is most likely the problem (and could have probably used a replacement anyway). I hope this solves your problem. Otherwise you should check your fuel line pressure to ensure the pump is supplying what is required. Failing this, your injectors are probably the next most likely culprit. By this stage, things are starting to get expensive so lets hope the problem is just a blocked filter!
On a related side note; pressure cleaning an engine can sometimes cause water and soap to push down beside the spark plugs in a spark ignition engine. Sometimes this will cause the engine to run a little rough until the heat of combustion burns the contaminants away.
Hope this helps, Sherwin

Ryobi 3000 psi pressure washer detergent injector

Most detergent injectors work by the venturi system. That is that the detergent is drawn into the stream by the forward flow of the water thru a very narrow port after the water passes thru the pump. This system works best when the pressure at the tip of the wand is low. Trying using a very large tip to draw in and apply the detergent, then remove injector and rinse with high pressure. Not good for the pump but to apply soap reliably under high pressure the soap needs to be injected through the intake of the pump. enjoy
