The CP200 is a dealer programmable radio which was available in UHF or VHF. You would need the UHF model to match. Then the radio itself would need programmed to the same frequencies as the T5720. This requires Motorola proprietary software, cable and radio interface box (RIB). Your best option would be stopping by your nearest dealer to have it programmed.

You will find the manual here. The radio is part of the 280 series radios, so there is a general manual on all in that series.

SOURCE: Motorola talkabout 200

Here is a link to the TA280 manual, which is similar to the TA200, http://www.giantintl.com/RadioPDFs/Outdated%20Manuals/T280_User_Manual.pdf

Funny thing, I haven't found the TA200 manual in English. Here it is in Czech: http://www.cbradio.cz/doc/Motorola/PMR%20TA200/manual.pdf If you do a google search, you can find the page and have it translated. I'll keep looking, and if I find it in English, I'll repost.

SOURCE: How to charge battery in Motorola Talkabout Distance DPS

You can obtain a wall adapter style charger for your radio at your local Motorola dealer, or online at http://www.eradiostore.com/cart/index.php?target=products&mode=search&subcats=Y&type=extended&avail=Y&pshort=Y&pfull=Y&pname=Y&epcode=Y&q=htn8232

Sidenote: The rechargeable battery is good for about 2 to 3 years. You can tell the age of your battery by looking at the date code on the back of the battery above the stop sign. The first number is the year, the next two numbers are the week of the year. 915 would be 2009 the 15th week. (Or if very old it could be 1999 the 15th week.) A good battery, when charged will go an 8-10 hour day.

Keep both of your charge trays, replacements for these are no longer available.

How do I connect Motorola Talkabout KEM-ML36100 with Uniden pmr1188?

I don't know where you are located, but I have a feeling that you are using two incompatible systems.
The PMR (Personal Mobil Radio) is build for the European market. The allocated frequencies for it's 8 channels are from 446.00625 Mhz to 446.09375 Mhz. Your Motorola is for the US market GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) and FRS (Family Radio Service) and it's channels are allocated from 462 Mhz and 467 Mhz area.

Bottom line is, since their channels are on different frequencies, they can't talk to each other.

BTW, it would be illegal to use the European radio in the US and visa versa. You could be interferring with other radio services.

Issues with Motorola TalkAbout T5900 (14 Channels) 2-Way Radio. Do they need FCC programing & licensing to operate? Because I can not get the to communicate with each other!

Yes they do.The thing about the talkabout is that they work according to the network area they are connected to and the number of the talkabout they are also connected to.So all you need do now is to take the talkabout to motorola shop so that they can confrigure it for you.

How can i tell if i have a UHF radio or VHF radio

You can use the model number to tell if you are VHF or UHF. You will still need to know the frequency(s) and PL code(s) your radios have to get radios to match.

VHF model number starts with P93.
UHF model number starts with P94.

The current replacement radio for the SP50 is the CP200. It is construction grade and was made to replace the SP50. There are other radios which will also match the SP50 including (but not limited to) the BPR40 and the new CP185.
