Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread!

You need 2 spools of thread. Thread one needle all the way through the path. Then thread the other needle. NOTE: Some machines (newer models mostly) will have 2 separate tension units for separate threads. On older models, you will just have to use the same path for both threads. The reason you thread each thread separately is to keep the threads from becoming twisted in the path and causing knots that will affect the stitch quality and tension.

HINT: ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread on your machine.

Um, you didn't provide the model of machine, so we can't help. A good indication is, how many thread spool pins are there on your machine? If there are 4 spool pins, then it is a 4-thread machine.

and generally there will be a web site that provides the specifications for your machine--along with telling you how many threads it uses.

You can also compare Juki models on their web site.

Search the internet for your machine make & model & threading instructions. You may not find your exact machine, but a lot of similar machines will have the same threading sequence.

Just a hint: be sure to RAISE the presser foot BEFORE threading the upper thread so the tension disk will allow the thread to seat properly.

check that the needle thread is between the tension plates and not behind them ( common problem as when you are threading the machine the loose thread falls behind the plates and jams on the tension thread
as to the model , there is normally a model and serial number near the motor housing under the cover of the motor or underneath the machine
