Here are some other tips...Increase your available disk space. Download where the activity is not so crowded. Set your security levels and opions to default level. Disable your firewall.

Find your monitor's native resolution, in your case it's 1440x900. Go to display settings (usually right-click on desktop and choose properties), go to settings tab and move the resolution slider until it shows 1440x900. Confirm, the screen should flicker for a moment and adjust - and you should be fine.
If there is no 1440x900 resolution available, then installing a monitor .inf file that came on a disk accompanying the monitor might help.

you have done wrong setting for resolution

connect your computer with another monitor that support higher resolution. decrese resolution setting of your computer then connect your monitor that is creating problem and make sure for click on apply not on ok when you change resolution.

dont press enter without seeing the result of new resolution.

Basic problem is with your resolution you lower your resolution and it will solve your issue.

It is display screen resolution issue.
When you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode then go to control panel ->display->settings
then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then restart then check.

You may have a video resolution selected on your computer that the screen doesn't support.

The reason you see the the initial startup message is because that is loaded from the bios, prior to the settings for the graphic card output being loaded.

Try booting the computer in safe mode and adjusting the display resolution.
