Where is the horn located, and can i install a louder horn?

Just like any other electrical horn. A relay is recommended for any after-market horn as they commonly require much more power than stock (you can find relay wiring diagrams and instructions all over the InterWebS). Other than that it's a question of finding enough room for it behind the fairing (be careful not to block the fork or wheel movement). If loudness is what you are aiming at, there are much better and more compact horns than ooga. Look for compact dual air horns (like Stebel, for example, very loud) or two tone electric horns (considerably louder and better sounding than stock). Ooga will make most people laugh instead of brake or flee, IMO.

First you will have to determine if your horn activates by earthing via the horn button or by connecting to positive via the horn button.
Locate the old horn and remove its wires. Connect these wires to the relay on pins 85 and 86. Operate the horn button and the relay should click.
Run a new wire from battery positive to relay pin 30.
Run a new wire from pin 87 to the horn positive.
Run a new wire from horn negative to an earthing point close to the horn or to battery negative and you're done.

First locate the horn in the engine compartment should be between the front grill and radiator core support. Pull the horn off, it has one wire and one bolt holding it on. next clean the bolt area where it is bolted on with sand paper to get a good ground. Sand it on the bottom of the mounting bracket and on the area where the horn bolts on. next get a wire and hook to the positive side of the battery, touch the horn to the negative side so it has a ground then touch the horn wire connector with the wire connected to the positive side of the wire does the horn work? if so it was needing cleaning, if not you will need to replace the horn. There are two things that you can do before you replace it look for a single screw on the horn and back it out three or four turns the try it again before installing, if this makes it work better then you know the problem that the reeds are going out replace the horn for $15.00 at any auto parts store. Or buy a air horn for $20.00 bucks and replace it with that, it's louder and easy to install. Nissan has always had issues with the horn so your not alone on this issue. Also check to see if a wasp built a next inside the horn or a mud dauber may have built a nest in the horn, if there is obstruction in the throat of the horn clean it out and try it again. Of all Nissan's I have worked on I have found it necessary to replace the horn about 90% of the time.

Horns are usually in front of the radiator and behind the grill--look for two of them, one on each side. Make sure they both sound. If only one works, there is a significant reduction in sound level. There may be road debris stuffed into the horn's throats--poke a hooked stiff wire into the throats and see if anything comes out. Most are sealed and can't be taken apart to clean--replacement is about the only recourse. (look in a wrecking yard for replacements)

Unplug the wire to the horn and make sure you have the horn grounded really good. Take a hot wire and run it from the battery to the horn. touch the hot wire to the end of the horn and see if it works. If it does not work then you need to replace the horn. If the horn works then take a test light and hook it up to the horn wire and have someone push the horn down. you should have a hot wire. If you don't them check the horn fuse.
