The door feels hot and it will not start again until it cools down. It makes a loud buzzing sound when it starts. Does anyone have any idea about what is causing the problem and how to repair this dryer?
Your motor is overheating and shutting off on the limit switch. You should check the vent hose, it needs thorough cleaning. Also, you must take the front panel off and vacuum the inside of the dryer and around the motor. It may be too late for the motor but you have a chance. If you have an air compressor, it is best to blow high pressure air into the motor to get thorough cleaning.
keeping the vent and inside of the dryer clean can reduce drying time by more than 50% and operating cost by as much as $20.00 per month

I will follow your advice and give the hose and motor a good cleaning, and hope this will fix the problem. It is so good to know that there are experts like yourself who are willing to give their time and knowledge to help others who, like me, have no idea where to begin. Again, Thank you so much!!!"
