We recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now we can't upload pictures from our camera to the computer. What driver do we need to install and where do I go to get it? Thank you.

SOURCE: uploading pictures from camera to computer

I would check Vivitar's website for a camera driver file you can download that would enable you to use it. Not sure what you mean by install file being locked. In general, I would upgrade to Windows XP (or Vista if your machine will support it, once they've gotten more bugs out). Windows ME is basically Windows 98 with some multimedia extensions, and not one of Microsoft's better efforts-it's also old, so not many updates will be forthcoming.

SOURCE: uploading pictures from camera onto computer

Go to a computer store there they should have a cheap/affordable usb cable or better a memory card reader where you can put your memory card into, it will connect to your computer/laptop and from there you should be able to upload pictures. and no you do not need to install anything at all. =) [email protected]

SOURCE: My XT will not connect to Vista.

Well, that worked perfectly. Turn on your Rebel XT camera and under Menu then Tools go to Communication and set it to Print/PTP. Thank you to all you very smart people!

I don't have the usb cord that came with the camera, cannot find driver on line and after market cable not recognized, how can I upload to lap top Windows 10?

Contact Fuji customer services for help, advice and possibly the drivers and/or cable that you need. The camera is, however, eleven years old, so they may not have what you require anymore. It takes an xD media card, but you may be able to get a USB card reader that can accommodate that.

We recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now we can't upload pictures. What driver do we need to install and where do I go to get it

If this model is supported by Windows 10, the manufacturer should be able to help. Alternatively, invest in a card reader which attaches to your computer and put the memory card in that, using Explorer (if such still exists in Win 10 !) to copy the files across.

Uploading Pictures To The Computer.

If you are running Windows XP or Vista in computer, hook USB cable between camera and computer, power up camera, Windows will recognize it and install required drivers automatically, click My Computer, Removable Disk, click folder and copy picture files and paste in some where in computer.

Have recently upgraded to windows vista now our sony dsc-5730 either freezes or takes a long time to upload pictures onto computer

Go here and download the latest driver for DSC-S730 for your OS:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=DSC-S730&region_id=1

Next, uninstall the older driver through the Control Panel and reboot PC. Now install the newly downloaded driver and see if that resolves the issue.
